In Lahore and parts of Punjab, there may be scattered rain, wind, and thunderstorms starting Monday evening/night and continuing into Tuesday. The Pakistan Meteorological Department reports a shallow westerly wave over the upper parts of Pakistan, with another wave expected to approach the western regions on April 24th.

This weather pattern will bring rain, wind, and thunderstorms to various areas including Murree, Galyat, Pothohar region, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, Jhelum, and more on Monday evening/night. On Tuesday, these conditions are expected in Murree, Galyat, Lahore, Sialkot, and Gujranwala during the day.

Temperatures in Lahore are predicted to range from 32-34 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 33-35 C on Wednesday.

Although most parts of the province experienced dry weather in the last 24 hours, isolated places saw rain/thunderstorms. The hottest place was Sahiwal with a maximum temperature of 36 C, while in Lahore, the maximum temperature was 35 C with relative humidity at 27%
