In Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and some parts of Pakistan, there’s a chance of rain, wind, and thunderstorms on Monday evening/night.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department notes a shallow westerly wave over the upper parts of Pakistan, with another wave expected to come to western areas on April 24th. This weather setup may bring rain, wind, and thunderstorms to the twin cities, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and nearby hilly regions on Monday evening/night. On Tuesday, these conditions are expected in those areas, while dry weather is predicted elsewhere in the country.

In Islamabad, temperatures are forecasted to range from 27-29 degrees Celsius on Tuesday and 28-30 C on Wednesday. In Rawalpindi, temperatures will be between 25-27 C on both days.

Although most of the country experienced dry weather in the past 24 hours, there were rain/thunderstorms in isolated areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

The hottest place was Nawabshah with a maximum temperature of 42 C, while in Islamabad, the maximum temperature was 32 C with a morning relative humidity of 38%, and in Rawalpindi, it was 30 C with a morning relative humidity of 40%.
