The Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave forecast for Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, beginning tomorrow and continuing until June 1st. Residents are advised to prepare for exceptionally high temperatures and potential health hazards.

Today, Karachi will witness hot and humid weather conditions along with strong winds. The heatwave is expected to intensify from tomorrow onwards, with temperatures projected to rise between 40 to 42 degrees Celsius. By Thursday, temperatures may escalate further, reaching between 41 to 43 degrees Celsius, coupled with extremely hot and dry weather conditions.

In the upcoming days, nearby areas such as Badin, Thatta, and Sujawal are also anticipated to face severe heat, with temperatures ranging from 42 to 44 degrees Celsius.

It is advised to stay well-hydrated, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, and take necessary precautions to ensure safety during this period of extreme weather.
