According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and various parts of Pakistan are expected to experience rain accompanied by wind and thunderstorms on Friday evening and night.

The weather conditions are influenced by moist currents from the Arabian Sea affecting central and southern regions of Pakistan, along with a shallow westerly wave over upper and central areas. Anticipated regions for wind, thunderstorm, and rain activity include the twin cities, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, northeast Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, as well as central and southern Punjab and upper Sindh during Friday evening and night.

Saturday and Sunday are forecasted to be predominantly hot and dry across most of the country, with isolated instances of wind, thunderstorm, and rain expected in northeast Balochistan, south Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, central and south Punjab, upper Sindh, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Maximum temperatures in Islamabad are projected to range between 38-40°C on Saturday and 41-43°C on Sunday, while in Rawalpindi, temperatures are expected to be between 37-39°C on Saturday and 38-40°C on Sunday. Previous 24-hour data indicated widespread wind, thunderstorm, and rain in upper Sindh, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, northeast Balochistan, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, with hot and dry weather prevailing elsewhere in the country.
