The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast isolated rains along with gusty and dust-raising winds in Lahore and various parts of Punjab on Monday and Tuesday.

According to the current synoptic conditions, continental air is dominant over most regions of Pakistan.

With these weather patterns, isolated rain-wind/thunderstorms are expected in areas such as Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Kasur, Lahore, Sheikhupura, and Gujranwala on Monday and Tuesday. Southern districts are likely to experience extremely hot weather with gusty and dust-raising winds, while hot and dry weather is anticipated in other parts of the province.

In Lahore, maximum temperatures are expected to range between 43-45°C on Monday and Tuesday.

In the past 24 hours, Lahore and most areas of the province have experienced hot and dry weather, with gusty and dust-raising winds occurring during this period.

The hottest locations in the province were Bhakkar and Noorpur Thal, with maximum temperatures recorded at 47°C. Hafizabad, Okara, Dera Ghazi Khan, and Gujranwala recorded maximum temperatures of 46°C. In Lahore, the maximum temperature reached 43°C, and the relative humidity in the evening was 24 percent.
