Islamabad: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most parts of the country are expected to experience cold and dry weather.

Northern and hilly regions, including Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and northern districts of Balochistan, are likely to face severe cold during mornings and nights.

The plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Islamabad and surrounding areas, may experience fog or smog during morning and night hours, with its intensity gradually increasing over the next few days.

Cities such as Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, and Dera Ismail Khan are also expected to witness light to moderate fog during early hours.

Southern Punjab, Sindh, and central Balochistan will remain dry with cold nights and mornings.
