Michael Packard of Massachusetts talked about being stuck within a humpback whale’s mouth for for 40 seconds in June 2021. In an interview with the Cape Cod Times at the time; he said that as he got into the water for a dive; he was about 10 feet from the bottom; before the creature devoured him whole.

Mr Packard, a veteran lobster diver has spoken up again about the incident; admitting that it happened on “just a usual day.”
