Commuters were struck by two days of London Underground tube strikes in March 2022.

10,000 London Underground employees vote to strike over a dispute with Transport for London (TfL). And, as we now know, the action didn’t stop there.

A 24-hour strike took place in June, following the Platinum Jubilee festivities. More Tube strikes are expected in the near future.

It’s expected that up to 10,000 members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) will strike for a 24-hour period, causing severe disruption.

Meanwhile, around 1,000 Unite members are expected to quit their roles for the day.

Unlike previous strikes, the action on June 21 falls on the same day as massive rail strikes across the UK, which will affect many key railway lines and take place on June 23, 24, and 25.
