Seven people were killed in a shooting at a law firm in Daegu, South Korea.

At least 46 people were injured in an explosion in an office building near City Hall on Thursday morning. Police are investigating the attack, but believe it is a fire.

Authorities say a 50-year-old suspect died at the scene. At around 10:55 (01:55 GMT local time), more than 150 firefighters arrived at the centre immediately after the fire broke out.

Firefighters put out the blaze in 20 minutes, firefighters said. Most of the victims were transported to the hospital because of the smoke. Police have launched an investigation.

According to surveillance cameras installed in the office, the suspect entered the office on the second floor with materials, a news channel reported. Local media reported that he had filed a complaint with a law firm before the attack.
