The Republican Party of Texas adopted a resolution rejecting President Joe Biden as the winner; of the 2020 election at its state convention over the weekend; further aligning the state party establishment with former President Donald Trump in supporting bogus election claims.

“We reject the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election; and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.”

“We strongly urge all Republicans to act to assure election integrity by voting in November 2022; bringing your friends and family with you, volunteering for your local Republicans; and overwhelming any potential fraud.”
