One of the men’s mothers, Lois Drueke, said she received a phone call from one of his buddies on Monday; informing her that a mission had gone wrong.

The families of two US veterans who volunteered to join the fight against Russia in Ukraine have reported them missing.

Alex Drueke and Andy Tai Ngoc Huynh, both of Alabama; have not been heard from since last week, according to their families; who are concerned about what may have happened to them.

Drueke, 39, is a former soldier of the United States Army from Tuscaloosa; who did two deployments in Iraq, according to his family.

Lois, his mother, said she received a call from one of his pals on Monday; informing her that a mission had gone wrong and that two guys, including her son, had not returned.
