On social media, a video of three Muslim men being forced to do sit-ups and sing “Jai Shri Ram” in a village in Uttar Pradesh has gone viral.

In a village in Uttar Pradesh’s Khargupur area, three Muslim males were allegedly pushed to do sit-ups, questioned for their Aadhaar cards, and forced to shout “Jai Shri Ram.” The incident’s footage has gone viral. The Muslim men were also advised not to return to the ‘Pandit’ settlement.

One of the villagers is heckling the three Muslim fakirs and demanding their identification information. He also advised the men not to return to the Pandit village. The three Muslim males apologized several times.

The police initiated an investigation into the matter and one person was arrested, after being informed.
