Kremlin says, US citizens death penalty not ruled out, the two were “lucky warriors”; who should be held accountable for their “crimes.”
On Tuesday, the Kremlin stated that the US individuals apprehended in Ukraine were subject to court rulings; and that the death penalty was not ruled out.

“Because these are judicial decisions, we can’t rule anything out.”
We don’t comment on them and have no authority to intervene,” Dmitry Peskov, a Kremlin spokesman.

He claimed that the Kremlin had no idea where the soldiers were right now.

Peskov’s remarks, which he delivered during an interview on Monday; were the first time a Russian official; directly acknowledged captured US military veterans Alexander Drueke and Andy Huynh. The men’s families say they last heard from them on June 8 in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine; which is close to the Russian border.
