LONDON, 22 July (Reuters) – Hundreds of British Airways (ICAG.L) employees at London’s Heathrow airport voted on Friday to end a strike after accepting a pay offer, according to the GMB union.

“No one wanted a Heathrow summer strike, but our members had to fight for what was right.” “This improved pay deal is the result of their efforts,” said Nadine Houghton, GMB National Officer.

British Airways’ check-in staff at Heathrow Airport went on strike earlier this month after the airline agreed to improve its pay offer.
