The battle between Russia and Ukraine will not involve the use of nuclear weapons by Russia. The Russian Ambassador to the UK, Andrey Kelin, was quoted as saying something along these lines on a television outlet on Wednesday.

“There will be no use of nuclear weapons by Russia. “There is no way that could happen,” stated Kelin.

“Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu gave each minister the assurance that we will not use nuclear weapons…. This is consistent with what has been communicated by both the minister of defense and our president,” he stated.

According to a statement that was issued by the Kremlin on Wednesday, the remarks made by the envoy took place at the same time that Russian President Vladimir Putin was leading military training manoeuvres. A number of different types of missiles, including ballistic and cruise, were launched during the exercises.
