A man has been taken into custody on suspicion of killing a man who hasn’t been seen in almost a month.

Kiran Pun, who is 36 and from Amesbury, Wiltshire, was last seen getting off a bus at the Aldershot train station on December 1 at about 19:30 GMT.

The Hampshire Constabulary said a man from Aldershot who is 36 years old is still in police custody.

A force spokesman said that Mr. Pun may have had ties to the cities of Aldershot, Farnborough, Basingstoke, and Andover.

Det. Insp. Howard Broadribb said, “We know that the community will be shocked by this arrest.

“Kiran has not been seen for some time now, and we still need to hear from anyone in the community who might have seen him since his disappearance, or has any information that will assist our investigation.”

Mr Pun is described as 5ft 8-9ins with black short hair, brown eyes and a slim face. He has a scar on his chin.
