A male participant who was 22 years old died as a result of an accident that occurred when he was kayaking in Thailand, according to the reports.

Odhran O’Neill, who is originally from Lurgan in County Armagh, was reportedly spotted kayaking for the final time on Saturday at 13:00 GMT, according to a statement that was issued by Clann Eireann GAC.

The club claimed that after Odhran’s kayak capsized, he promised to swim to shore but then disappeared instead of upholding his word.

According to the accusations, he paddled his way through Khao Sok National Park using a kayak.

It is thought that the dead body of the man was discovered early on Sunday morning.

The organization would like to express their gratitude to everyone who participated in the search efforts by sharing the social media post, and they would also like to express their condolences to the family.

“Unfortunately, it is not the outcome we had all hoped and prayed for,” the statement added.
