The eldest daughter of the Thai King collapsed on Wednesday night after collapsing from a heart problem, according to the Thai royal palace.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha, the eldest child of King Vajiralongkorn, reportedly collapsed while working with her dogs northeast of Bangkok, according to the palace.

The 44-year-old was flown by helicopter to Bangkok, where she is receiving treatment, from a neighboring hospital.

Last night, the palace described her condition as “stable to a certain extent.”

According to Media, medical updates from the Thai royal palace are frequently opaque and evasive, making it challenging to determine the severity of Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s condition from the one statement that has been released.

Her current state of health is not mentioned in the statement. According to some sources, it may be much more serious than initially thought.

Princess Soamsawali, the king’s eldest child and first wife, is the mother of the princess. She was promoted to senior officer in the king’s personal guard in 2016 and has been a member of her father’s inner circle since since he replaced King Bhumibol.

With post-graduate degrees in law from two US colleges, she is the member of the inner royal circle who is the most obviously accomplished.

Although Princess Bajrakitiyabha is largely regarded as the most eligible heir, King Vajiralongkorn has not yet designated an heir to the throne.

She is entitled to the throne under a 1924 Palace Law of Succession because she is one of the three royal children with legal titles.

In addition to being a fitness enthusiast, she has a lengthy history of supporting Thai criminal reform.

She advocates strongly for female convicts, of which Thailand has one of the highest populations worldwide. She served from 2012 to 2014 as Thailand’s ambassador to Austria.
