Three killed, several injured in downtown Paris gunfire
On Friday, a shooter opened fire in the 10th arrondissement, which is located in the center of Paris. According to Alexandra Cordebard, the mayor of the area, three people were killed and four more were injured as a result.
“Following the dramatic shooting which took place this morning, I returned to Paris and will go to the scene. All my thoughts go to the families of the victims. The perpetrator was arrested,” French Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin tweeted.
The shooting has not been categorized as a terrorist attack; nonetheless, all possible explanations are being looked at.
