Indiana house fire: Mother and 3 children dead
The victims were discovered inside the blazing home by firefighters shortly after the Fremont fire was reported at 5 a.m. Saturday, according to state police.
After a house fire in northeastern Indiana, a woman and her three children perished.
State police say that shortly after the Fremont fire was reported at 5 a.m. on Saturday, firefighters arrived on the scene and found the victims inside the burning house.
In hospitals, they were given the death verdict. Their identities have been verified by the county coroner, but their names and ages were not made public on Saturday. Sunday was anticipated to see autopsies.
According to a preliminary assessment, the fire appears to have begun in an empty space on the second floor of the house, according to state police.
The fire’s origin is still under investigation.
