Two young men, one a karate champion and the other a volunteer children’s coach, were hung in Iran on Saturday.

As a result, there are now four confirmed executions in connection with the nationwide protests that have swept the nation since September.

According to Media, Mohammad Mehdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini were hanged early on Saturday.

According to Iran’s judiciary news agency, the two were found guilty of killing Seyed Ruhollah Ajamian, a member of the nation’s Basij paramilitary organization, in Karaj on November 3.

The pair were accused of taking part in anti-regime protests last year.

Karami was not given the opportunity to talk to his family before his execution, according to Mohammad Hossein Aghasi, a lawyer who is fighting for Karami.

The attorney further mentioned that Karami had started a dry food fast on Wednesday to protest the authorities for denying Aghasi permission to represent him.

According to claims from Iranian authorities and articles in Iranian media examined by reupdated media outlet and 1500 Tasvir, as many as 41 more protestors may have been given death sentences in recent months.

However, the actual figure may be far higher.
