An officer with the London Metropolitan Police named David Carrick has guilty to 49 charges, including 24 instances of rape committed over an 18-year period, according to a report from the UK Media news agency on Monday.

To admit guilt to four counts of rape, false imprisonment, and indecent assault involving a 40-year-old woman in 2003, Carrick appeared before Southwark Crown Court in London on Monday, according to UK media.

According to UK media, Carrick agreed to 43 accusations against 11 other women, including 20 counts of rape, before the Old Bailey criminal court in London last month.

This occurred between March 2004 and September 2020.
