Three charges of murder after the Huddersfield stabbing

  • Three men have been charged with the murder of Khalfan Seif in Huddersfield.
  • Sahil Ansar, Amaan Ansar and Wahaab Said are accused of murder and robbery.
  • 22 y/o woman who was detained on suspicion of helping a criminal has been freed.

Khalfan Seif was stabbed in Huddersfield, and three men have been accused of both murder and robbery.

After being stabbed the previous evening at his Springdale Avenue home, Mr. Seif passed away on Sunday, August 15.

On Monday, Sahil Ansar, 18, Amaan Ansar, 19, and Wahaab Said, 19, all of Springdale Avenue and Broad Street, Sheffield, are scheduled to appear in court.

A 22-year-old woman who was detained on suspicion of helping a criminal has since been freed and is the subject of an enquiry.

The three males have been charged by West Yorkshire Police and are scheduled to appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court.

Police are requesting anyone who saw the event, or who has any information, to contact them.
