At the Royal Marines camp in Angus, a bus fire that sent large plumes of smoke into the air has been the focus of emergency services.

The incident resulted in the closure of the A933 on Saturday near the entrance to RM Condor, close to Arbroath.

There were no reports of injuries when Police Scotland stated they were notified at around 09:40.

A passenger in a car captured footage on their phone of the bus in flames.

Two appliances, according to the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, were dispatched to the area.
