Tens of thousands of Israelis marched again in nationwide demonstrations against the government’s plan to limit Supreme Court authority.

The 11th week of protests has begun, with opponents of the reforms accusing right-wing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of weakening judicial independence.

Mr. Netanyahu, who is facing corruption charges, has stated that his goal is to reestablish a balance of power between the government and Israel’s highest court.

The growing protests have had an impact on the economy and spurred some military reservists to threaten to ignore call-up orders.
