In response to the situation, Avon and Somerset Police have conducted four arrests and seized a substantial quantity of suspected heroin from a property in the Easton area.

Authorities have urged the public to contact emergency services at 999 if they suspect someone is experiencing severe illness.

A statement from the council affirmed that initial evidence suggested the deaths were linked to a hazardous batch of heroin.
