PML-N releases final list of candidates for NA seats

LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has released the final list of candidates for the National Assembly seats in the upcoming general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024.

According to the provided list, PML-N is fielding candidates for 212 seats in the National Assembly. Conversely, there are no PML-N candidates vying for positions in 51 National Assembly seats, as indicated in the released document.

The detailed list outlines the specific constituencies where prominent figures from the party will be contesting. Mian Nawaz Sharif is set to participate in the elections from NA-15 Mansehra and NA-130 Lahore, while Maryam Nawaz Sharif is slated to contest from NA-119, Hamza Shehbaz from NA-118, and President of the Muslim League-N, Shehbaz Sharif, from NA-123 and NA-132.

Interestingly, no PML-N candidates are running in the elections for several constituencies, including NA-4, 19, 20, 21, 22, 44, 45, 48, 54, 64, 88, 92, 117, 128, 143, 149, 165, 185, and NA-190 to 204.

Additionally, the party has chosen not to field candidates in NA-206 to 210, and NA-212, 214, 215, 217, 218, 221, 223, 224, 228, 239, 245, 264, and 266.
