HEC Mandates Online Degree Attestation for Overseas Education and Employment.
To streamline the process for Pakistani citizens planning to study or work abroad, the Higher Education Commission (HEC) has introduced an online system for degree attestation.
Applicants can now easily apply for attestation via the HEC website link: https://eservices.hec.gov.pk.
Upon completing the online application, applicants must submit their documents for initial examination. Successful applicants will receive notifications via SMS and email from HEC, prompting them to either schedule a walk-in appointment (for urgent cases) or send their documents through courier.
HEC offers two attestation modes:
- Walk-in Mode (Urgent Applications Only): Applicants can personally submit their documents or authorize someone to do so on their behalf.
- Authorized Courier Service Mode (Normal Applications): Both local and overseas applicants can utilize designated courier services for document attestation, with the courier company handling the entire process from attestation to document return.
