11 killed as rain water entered house basement in Kohat  

KOHAT: At least 11 members of a family died as rain water entered basement of the house in Dara Adamkhel area of Kohat.

According to rescue officials, rainwater entered the house in Old Bazid Khel  area of ​​Dara Adamkhel where 11 members of the same family died due to the water entered in the basement of the house.

According to the rescue sources, the dead people were sleeping in the basement of the house when water entered the house and killed them.

Later, 11 bodies were removed while the search for one girl is going on.

In unfortunate incident, 6 children, 3 women and 2 men from the same family are among those who died in the basement.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi and Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur have expressed deep condolences with members of the bereaved families.
