Dania Shah Responds to Criticism Alongside Her Husband

The marriage ended in divorce after just three months. Dania Shah sparked controversy by leaking a private video of her husband, which led to severe backlash and Dr. Aamir Liaquat Hussain’s untimely death. Following his passing, Dania faced multiple legal issues, including property disputes.

Recently, Dania Shah married her lawyer, Hakeem Shehzad, who represented her in these cases. In a recent interview, the couple addressed the public criticism surrounding their marriage. Hakeem Shehzad clarified that their marriage occurred while Dania’s father was still alive.

Dania Shah emphasized that marrying Hakeem Shehzad was a thoughtful decision, stating that she wanted a life partner. She mentioned that they are currently only legally married (nikahfied). The interview was a response to their critics, offering insight into their relationship and decision to marry.

Talking about Dania, her husband said, “I took her case and uploaded a video after which I faced a lot of trolling, people bashed me for taking her case. They said, ‘shame on you, you are protecting a murderer, a bad woman’, they were being very abusive towards her but I found her opposite to that trolling. She was so innocent and a pious lady and that married her”.

He further said, “When her mother called me for the case, I said I agreed to fight for her but before that I will do Nikah with her so that I will be her support, like a Mehram, I didn’t want to take her in courts as my friend. This friend culture has ruined our society, a relationship like marriage is being trolled in Pakistan but it is okay for famous people to leave house at 4:00 am for the drama script. Second marriage is a crime in Pakistan. I am now married to Dania Shah and it is my fourth marriage and I openly announce it and if it is a sin, I have committed this sin for the fourth time. Replying to the trolls, Dania Shah said, I have no answer for the haters and I am very happy with my second marriage, I want all the widows to have such a husband.”
