
CM Maryam Nawaz invites Turkish universities to open campuses in Punjab
Lahore, Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has decided to take a historic action as she will be distributing 3200 plots among the journalist community of the country.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met with Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari, during which the decision was made to allocate plots to journalists.
In the meeting, Maryam Nawaz directed the Information Ministry to take immediate action for the Journalist Colony Lahore Phase Two and instructed that the process for the Journalist Housing Scheme Phase Two be completed promptly.
The Chief Minister also ordered that all legal requirements be fulfilled quickly to ensure the timely allocation of plots to journalists, stating, “Journalists and the government are like two wheels of the same vehicle; providing plots to journalists is not a favor, but their right.”
