Xiaomi 15 Ultra expected to launch on February 26
The highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to debut in China on February 26 at 7 PM, according to an unofficial Weibo leak. While Xiaomi has not officially confirmed the date, reports suggest that the global version of the device will be unveiled at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain, from March 3-6.
Leaked details suggest that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra will feature a 50MP primary camera with the LYT-900 sensor (1-inch) and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for enhanced photography.
It is also expected to include a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens and a 200MP Samsung HP9 periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, a 32MP OmniVision OV32B front camera is anticipated.
The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and run on HyperOS 2.0 (Android 15-based) for a smooth and efficient user experience. It is expected to come with a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The global variant is likely to offer 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, while the Chinese model may include up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
With its advanced features, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to be a game-changer in the flagship smartphone market.
