Actress Mehwish Hayat, however, came forward in his support and asked people to stop disrespecting him.

Reacting to the situation, Sahir Lodhi said he respects everyone’s right to have an opinion. “People can like me or dislike me, and that’s their choice,” he shared. He admitted that some comments did hurt him, but he would never say such things about anyone else.

He also expressed gratitude to Mehwish Hayat for her unexpected support, recalling that they worked together years ago and praising her kindness and grace.
