Faisal Rehman reveals why he chose to stay unmarried

Renowned Pakistani actor Faisal Rehman, aged 59, recently shared his thoughts on remaining unmarried and expressed gratitude for the freedom his choice has afforded him over the years.

In a candid interview, the actor addressed questions about his personal life, particularly his unmarried status, highlighting that despite public assumptions, he has never fallen in love and prefers to live life on his own terms.

“I have always lived life with freedom. I find attachment, whether it’s to clothes, pets, or even people, to be a very difficult phase which I do not like,” Faisal explained. He added, “As time goes by, I am grateful that I did not marry because today I can pick up my bag and go anywhere, whereas my married friends cannot. They still look at me with great longing.”

The actor also emphasized that his unmarried status allows him full freedom in his professional and personal life. “I am free in every aspect of my work, and therefore, I still do not want to marry,” he remarked.

When asked about his well-known facial dimple, Faisal Rehman humorously claimed, “My dimple is more famous than actress Hania Aamir’s.” He attributed this to his longer tenure in the industry compared to Hania, who is relatively new.

Faisal also spoke about his female fan base, revealing that in the past, some admirers even sent him letters written in blood. He firmly denied rumors of any cosmetic surgery related to his dimple, stating, “This dimple is a gift from God. Although the dimple on my right cheek is more prominent, the other one also becomes visible when I gain weight.”
