Pakistani actor and director Syed Ehteshamuddin has encouraged Sahir Lodhi to continue making films, despite past setbacks.
Both Ehteshamuddin and Lodhi have made notable attempts to contribute to Pakistan’s film industry. Ehteshamuddin, known for his skill and versatility, has delivered impressive work in both acting and direction, producing several hit projects for television.
Sahir Lodhi, on the other hand, remains one of the country’s well-known entertainment personalities.
During a recent appearance on a comedy show on a private TV channel, Ehteshamuddin shared his thoughts on various subjects, including Lodhi’s work.
Sahir Lodhi had previously released the film Raasta, in which he played the lead role himself. The film failed at the box office and became the target of widespread criticism and mockery.
Ehteshamuddin said he would advise Sahir Lodhi not to be discouraged by the failure of Raasta. He explained that in both Pakistan and India, many actors took years to find success.
Stars such as Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Humayun Saeed continued working consistently until they finally won the audience’s admiration.
He added that Sahir Lodhi should do the same keep working, keep creating, and not give up on filmmaking.
