Ariana Grande has once again spoken up about hurtful remarks on her body. On Saturday, the singer reposted a video from her 2024 interview, reminding fans to think before talking about a person’s look. She captioned it, “Resharing this from the last 12 months as a loving reminder to all.”
In the video, Ariana has become emotional while explaining how comments about her weight and looks have affected her due to the fact that he was a teenager in the spotlight.
She stated she has heard every kind of criticism — people continually telling her what’s wrong with her appearance. Or even when she makes changes, the criticism continues uniquely. According to her, it’s difficult to disregard that negativity, specifically when you’re young.
Ariana talked about how body-shaming doesn’t only happen to celebrities. Even simple remarks from people during family gatherings — like saying someone looks “too skinny” or “heavier” — may be harmful.

She emphasized that people these days experience being too comfortable judging others’ appearance and assuming things about their health or life.
Ariana additionally recalled how, in 2023, she addressed remarks about her weight. Many thought she seemed healthier in older photos, but she discovered that those were actually the toughest days of her life — when she wasn’t eating properly and was struggling with her mental health.
She stated she shouldn’t have to explain her body; however chooses to be open so others might understand how damaging these comments can be.
