Lamarr Wilson’s cause of death has been revealed almost month after his sudden passing.
According to source, Wilson, a well-known tech and lifestyle content creator with more than three million followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, died on November 21, 2025. He was 48 years old and was found at a residence in Los Angeles.
Public records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office show that his death was ruled a suicide, listed under case number 2025-18304. His family shared the news of his passing on Facebook on December 13. Wilson’s last activity on social media was on November 12. At the time, his representatives did not give any statement about the cause of death.

In their message, Wilson’s family shared their deep sorrow and described him as the family’s “go-to” person. They said he had many projects planned and was already working with several tech and media companies.
Before the official announcement, fans had started to worry about him. Many commented on his holiday gift guide video, asking if he was okay after he went silent online for several weeks.
Wilson had a career that spanned more than ten years in tech content creation. He was known for reviewing smartphones, gaming consoles, and smart home devices, and he worked with major brands such as Google, Xbox, Apple, and Nintendo. He also hosted Mashable’s shows “YouTube Weekly” and “Socially Awkward,” was a contributor to the Daily Tech News Show podcast for a decade, and co-hosted George Takei’s “Takei’s Take.” In 2014, he won a Webby Award for a Google Glass review.
