Christian communities across Pakistan marked Christmas with vibrant celebrations, reflecting a spirit of joy, unity, and hope. From early morning, churches filled with worshippers attending special Christmas masses, offering prayers for peace, national harmony, and the country’s prosperity.
Although Christmas Day fell on Thursday, festivities had been in full swing since mid-December. Families and friends gathered in festive attire, exchanged gifts, and shared meals, turning neighbourhoods into scenes of warmth and colour.
Across major cities and smaller towns alike, Christians took part in peace rallies, visited bustling shopping centres and funfairs, and attended specially organised pre-Christmas events. Streets and public spaces echoed with carols, while decorations and lights added to the celebratory atmosphere.
The celebrations highlighted not only religious devotion but also a strong message of coexistence and goodwill, as communities came together to share the joy of the season and reaffirm hopes for a peaceful and prosperous future for Pakistan.
