The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) prices through a new notification.
According to OGRA, the price of LPG has been raised by Rs10.68 per kilogram, setting the new rate at Rs219.67 per kilogram, up from Rs209 in December.
Consequently, the price of a domestic cylinder has seen an increase of Rs 126.09.
OGRA said the revised prices will come into effect from midnight tonight.
For January, the price of a domestic cylinder has been fixed at Rs2,592.19, compared to Rs2,466.10 in December.
The regulator said LPG prices are set in line with international benchmarks, including global crude oil prices and exchange rate movements, to maintain transparency for domestic consumers.
