Global pop icon Taylor Swift has given fans an early holiday surprise by moving up the release of the final episodes of her much-anticipated docuseries, The End of an Era.
The streaming service announced that the final two episodes of the six-part series will now premiere on December 23, calling the move “an early gift to fans around the world.” With this change, the entire docuseries will be available two days before Christmas.
The behind-the-scenes series offers an intimate look at the making of Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour, which ran from March 2023 through December 2024, selling out stadiums across the globe. The first two episodes premiered on December 12, one day before Swift’s birthday, giving fans early insight into her life on and off the stage.
Originally, the final four episodes were set to roll out gradually, with two episodes released per week. Episodes three and four will still debut as planned at midnight Pacific time on Friday, while episodes five and six will now drop together on December 23.
Fans can also expect a major highlight in the upcoming episodes: NFL star Travis Kelce. While Swift spoke about her relationship with Kelce in the first two episodes, viewers will now see him on screen, including his appearance as a surprise performer during the London leg of the Eras Tour.
Swift’s journey, from her debut as a country artist with Taylor Swift (2006) and Fearless (2008) to her transformation into a global pop powerhouse, is also reflected throughout the series. Her evolution through albums such as Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation has produced numerous Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers, cementing her status as one of the most influential artists of her generation.
With the full series arriving ahead of schedule, Swifties worldwide now have even more reason to celebrate this holiday season.
