Excitement is building as registration for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games (LA28) officially opens for fans around the globe.

Starting Wednesday, 14 January 2026, and running through 18 March 2026, sports enthusiasts can register to enter a draw for a chance to purchase tickets. Registration is free, but does not guarantee tickets it simply assigns random time slots for purchasing.

Fans must create a profile on the official LA28 website to participate. With all venues finalized and a detailed competition schedule released, spectators can now plan their Olympic journey almost two years ahead of the Games.

The LA28 Olympics will be the largest Games ever, featuring 36 sports and 51 disciplines across 49 venues in 18 zones spanning Los Angeles and Oklahoma City. The Opening Ceremony is scheduled for 14 July 2028, with the Closing Ceremony on 30 July 2028.

Ticket sales for the general public will begin in April 2026, with over three million tickets available in the first phase. Residents of the eight host counties in California and Oklahoma can register for the early-access local presale, running 2–6 April, with randomly assigned time slots.

Fans selected in the draw will be notified up to 48 hours in advance of their purchasing window. Ticket prices start from $28, with all sports and sessions included. Each account may purchase up to 12 tickets, and Visa will be the official payment method.
