Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi to discuss the current situation in Iran and the wider region.
During the call, Dar expressed hope for peace and stability in the region. Both leaders emphasized the importance of continued bilateral consultations on matters of mutual interest.
Earlier, Senator Dar also spoke with European Union High Representative and Vice President Kaja Kallas. The discussion focused on the positive momentum in Pakistan–EU relations and ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
The conversation also covered recent regional and international developments, including the situation in Iran. Both sides reaffirmed the significance of sustained dialogue and agreed to remain in close contact.
