Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), rain is expected in Karachi and several parts of Sindh from today.

The minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 13.5°C, while the current temperature stands at 16°C. The maximum temperature in the city is expected to remain between 23°C and 25°C today.

Humidity levels are at 84 percent, with light winds blowing from the northeast at a speed of 4 kilometers per hour.

Besides Karachi, rain is likely in Jamshoro, Dadu, Thatta, Sujawal, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, and Sanghar.

Rain is also expected in Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Khairpur, Sukkur, and Ghotki. Meanwhile, districts including Jacobabad, Larkana, Qambar Shahdadkot, and Shikarpur may experience light to moderate rainfall accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.

The Met Office further stated that a noticeable drop in temperature is expected from tonight, with cold intensity increasing across the region.
