Security forces have killed three Indian-sponsored terrorists during a successful intelligence-based operation in Panjgur, Balochistan.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out against militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna-e-Hindustan.
The ISPR said the action was launched after receiving intelligence about the presence of terrorists in the area. During the operation, a heavy exchange of fire took place between security forces and the militants. As a result, three terrorists were killed, including local commander Farooq, also known as Suro, along with Adil and Wasim.
A large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was recovered from the possession of the killed terrorists. According to the ISPR, the militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region.
The military’s media wing added that sanitization and clearance operations are continuing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored terrorists from the area. The statement said that under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam,” security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to continuing counter-terrorism operations and are determined to completely eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
