WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has once again issued a strong warning to Iran, stating that a powerful American naval fleet is rapidly heading toward the country with full force, determination, and a clear mission.

In a statement shared on social media, President Trump said that a very large naval armada is advancing toward Iran, led by the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln. He claimed the fleet is even larger than the one previously deployed toward Venezuela.

Trump added that, like the Venezuela deployment, this fleet is fully capable of completing its mission swiftly and forcefully if required.

The US president expressed hope that Iran would return to the negotiating table at the earliest, emphasizing the need for a fair and balanced agreement.

“I hope Iran agrees to a deal — no nuclear weapons — a deal that is better for everyone,” Trump said.

Warning that time is running out, Trump said the matter is extremely serious. He recalled that Iran had earlier been urged to reach an agreement but refused, which, according to him, led to Operation Midnight Hammer, resulting in significant destruction.

President Trump further warned that if Iran continues to avoid an agreement, it would face far more severe attacks, urging Tehran not to allow such a situation to occur again.

“A massive naval fleet is moving rapidly toward Iran with full power and a clear purpose,” Trump reiterated.
