Karachi: A negative trend is being observed in the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) during trading. On the first day of the business week, the KSE-100 Index started on a downward trend. At one point, the KSE-100 Index fell by 2,242 points to reach 177,360 points.
So far today, the KSE-100 Index has recorded a decline of 2.25% during trading.
It is worth noting that the Pakistan Stock Exchange had also witnessed a negative trend during the previous business week, with the KSE-100 Index closing 4,525 points lower at 179,603.
During the week, the KSE-100 Index fluctuated within a band of 7,413 points, and over the course of the week, 4.31 billion shares were traded in deals worth 212 billion PKR. Meanwhile, the market capitalization decreased by 523 billion PKR to reach 20,359 billion PKR.
