Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon have killed at least 10 people and injured more than 50, officials reported.
Among the dead is a senior official of Hezbollah. The Israeli military stated that the strikes targeted Hezbollah positions in the Baalbek area of Lebanon, citing security concerns as the reason for the operation.
Israeli jets also carried out bombings in various parts of southern Lebanon, causing both casualties and property damage. Tensions in the region remain high following the attacks.
