Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is expected to witness partly cloudy skies and pleasant weather conditions today, providing a stable and comfortable atmospheric outlook across the city.
The minimum temperature has been recorded at 22.7°C while relative humidity stands at 54% indicating moderate moisture levels in the air. The maximum temperature is forecast to range between 30°C and 32°C, maintaining a mild daytime profile.
A southwesterly breeze currently blowing at a speed of 17 km/h, is contributing to the city’s balanced weather pattern and improved ventilation. Partial cloud cover is expected to persist throughout the day helping to limit excessive heat buildup.
Looking ahead a significant shift in weather dynamics is anticipated from April 1 as a westerly weather system is likely to influence the region. Under its impact rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms is expected across Sindh, including southern Balochistan.
Karachi may also experience strong winds, dust storms, and possible hailstorm activity, which could result in localized disruptions and reduced visibility.
The PMD has advised relevant authorities to implement precautionary measures in advance to effectively manage any potential impact arising from the evolving weather situation.
