The Anti Terrorism Court has sent the main culprit of the Lahore Motorway rape case Abid Malhi to jail on judicial remand for 14 days.
According to the details, the court has ordered to produce the culprit on October 28 after the identity parade. On the other hand, the ATC judge also sent Shafqat Ali’s remand for 14 days in the Lahore motorway gang rape case.
The court has ordered police to present the accused before it on October 28.
Yesterday, the Punjab police had arrested Abid Malhi, the main suspect in the Lahore motorway gang-rape case from Faisalabad.
According to police, Lahore motorway gang-rape suspect Abid Malhi was arrested from Faisalabad and has been shifted to Lahore for further interrogation.
It should be mentioned here that on September 9, a woman from Gujranwala was on her way to Gujranwala from Lahore with her two children in her car at around 1.30 pm when her car ran out of petrol near Gujjarpura on Ring Road.
The woman was waiting for her relative meanwhile, she also called the motorway police for help but the motorway police allegedly said that no one was on emergency duty and Beat of Gujjarpura had not been allotted to anyone yet.
According to the FIR, two armed men came from the forest adjacent to the motorway and smashed the car window and forcibly took the woman and her children to a nearby forest where the robbers raped the woman in front of the children. They snatched gold jewelry and cash and fled.
