Taylor Swift surprised a small group of fans with a performance at a private event celebrating her successful career at the Grammy Museum.
The 36-year-old pop star attended the Recording Academy’s “Icon Session,” hosted by Recording Academy President Harvey Mason Jr. The event focused on Swift’s two-decade music career and gave guests an opportunity to hear directly from the singer-songwriter.
The event was held without phones, with about 100 to 200 guests in attendance. Those who attended reportedly had the opportunity to interact with the 14-time Grammy winner in person.
Guests described Swift as “sweet, humble and fully present” during the event. After her performance, Swift took part in a conversation about her career, songwriting process and creative inspirations.
